It’s been a long way to go from the goose quill to the metal nib, without a doubt. With Kaweco at the forefront and its research and development facilities in Germany, starting the production of fountain pens in 1883, lead by the original founders Koch and Weber. To this very day, we proudly manufacture our broad selection of fountain pen nibs right here in Germany. The creation of an individual writing instrument starts with the perfect nib size. It is then rounded out by the selection of one of ten different ink colors, available as cartridges or ink bottle.
