CLASSIC Sport

In 1911 something remarkable by the name of Kaweco Sport was created. A pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It only measured 10.5 cm when closed, but when the cap was mounted on top of the barrel, it grew to a standard sized pen. At that time advertised for ladies, gentlemen in evening dress and sportsmen; therefor the name.

The series offers classic and historical colors with a gold-plated nib, golden logo cap and golden logo embossing. The colors include white, red, bordeaux, british racing green, black, as well as two other models with historical patterns. With the choice of your desired nib, which is made in Germany, your pen will become individual. You can choose of five nibs: EF, extra fine, for a very small and fine handwriting, F for fine, M a medium standard width, B a slightly wider nib and BB often for large, dramatic signatures. For beginners, we recommend the nib M.

Among the most famous users was Sepp Herberger. The then coach of the German football national team brought his winning tactics, which led to the World Championship title in 1954, with Kaweco Sport on paper.
