The most striking feature of the Special series is the simple, elegant and octagonal design with a snap button. Long and slim, made of ebonite and later of celluloid, the Special writing instruments have established themselves as reliable work equipment at a fair price. Due to the ball pens' great success, fountain pens were soon added.
Modern aluminium and brass is purposely used today. Sturdy and reliable mechanisms are worked into the pens, which have already sold millions of times.
